SOMERSET FELLOWSHIP OF DRAMA Cinderella Trophy Competition
2015/16 - WINNER - Bradford Trophy (Best Performance by 16 and under.)
NOMINATION - Best Principal Boy (Adult category)
SFD Adjudication - "This portrayal owed more than a little to the Disney version! But that made it all the more impressive. You bounded about the stage with a determination and resolve that reflected the character you were playing. You got across the complexity of his bravado with the little boy lost he was inside. I liked it. You have great stage presence and your physical movements were true to both the character and the animation. I particularly enjoyed the sequence when you were taunting Starkey and Smee. Splendid facial expressions, and even that arm movement, captured the essence of the role. You also have splendidly clear diction and this role, which was undoubtedly a good vehicle for you to showcase your talents, allowed you to demonstrate your prowess. Very well done."
SFD Moderator - "Peter Pan played by Cathy Vicarage defined this character exceptionally well and has to be congratulated on a fine performance."

May 2015 Liat South Pacific Wellington Operatic Society, Wellesley Theatre, Wellington, Somerset
SOMERSET FELLOWSHIP OF DRAMA David Beach Trophy Competition
2015 - NOMINATION - Best Cameo
SFD Adjudication - "Not an easy role. Little to say and nothing to sing but you performed your little dance routine well and you came across as a naïve young girl. Well done." SFD Moderator - "..... there were some lovely moments in the show - Cable's scene with Liat leading to Younger Than Springtime was touchingly played by both actors, Catherine Vicarage (15) as Liat, even in a non-speaking role, showing a maturity and grace beyond her years. Her dance moves during Happy Talk were also exquisite."
Another private reviewer wrote "It is not easy for someone to say so much with such a few lines but you did it!! Your performance was mesmerising - your movement and understanding of what was expected from someone so young was terrific. To be able to create a chemistry for the scenes with Oli (Joe Cable) would not have been easy but you did it. You looked the part, you acted the part and you made the part your own".
February 2015 Jiminy Cricket (+ Choreographer) Pinocchio (pantomime) Bradford Players
SOMERSET FELLOWSHIP OF DRAMA Cinderella Trophy Competition

Adjudication - "With your boundless energy, great stage presence, super accent and singing and dancing ability, this was a virtuoso performance. The pace of the show stepped up every time you came on stage and, even when chaos prevailed all around, you were the epitome of confidence and in control at all times. A great performance."

SOMERSET FELLOWSHIP OF DRAMA Cinderella Trophy Competition
2012/13 - WINNER - Young Comic of the Year.
NOMINATION - Bradford Trophy (for 16 year-olds and younger), one of only four nominees.
Adjudicator for the Somerset Fellowship of Drama wrote,“Let me tell you a little secret. My wife has accompanied me to dozens of pantomimes for over a decade. She enjoys them, but she rarely laughs. Even when she finds something funny, she internalises it; she does not laugh out loud. Until she saw you. I have never heard so many hearty laughs from her as I did during your performance. And no wonder. This was a mighty piece of casting. The huge presence of the Queen contrasting with the small, downtrodden King, a role that the director bravely filled by a moustachioed female. It worked wonderfully well. Your ridiculous movements about the stage, your timely interventions, your hiding behind the Queen and popping out at opportune moments, these were all wonderfully realised pieces of business which combined with your innate sense of comic timing to give us a really splendid piece of pantomime. And then to discover that you are only 13! Well, I am mightily impressed. Well done.”
Another reviewer, from 'Around Wellington' wrote “obvious understanding of the way body-language and well-worked mannerisms enhance a role. For me, the King actually stole the show”.

Other
Have been involved in the sold-out Halloween Tours at Dunster Castle. These have been in association with the National Trust, @2K and Taunton Thespians. For 2014 I played a scene as Flo the Mad Maid for a total of 26 tours over 2 evenings. For 2013 and 2012 I played a scene as a young child with her governess for a total of 23 tours over 2 evenings (2013) and 26 tours over 2 evenings (2012). This was a unique experience inasmuch as you are alone in a room while a group of people tour the Castle on a Ghost Tour. You repeat your scene to each new audience whilst acting in amongst them, and you cannot predict what they are going to do!

Training & Workshops
Skills
I was awarded a drama scholarship at Kings College, Taunton.
However, I decided to relinquesh this opportunity after 4 terms as I didn't receive any additional support towards performing and, having school for 6 'long' days a week, was proving to be more prohibitive than beneficial. So returned to 'regular' school to complete exams.
I have taken part in extensive dance workshops with professional choreographers who have worked with professional performers.
I am interested in modern/musical theatre-style dance and enjoy choreography. I have choreographed the last 5 pantomimes for the Bradford Players, at the same time as taking on integral roles ,
ie, Jiminy Cricket & Peter Pan.

Accents - I was born just outside London but have lived in Somerset from the age of 2. I don't have a strong accent and would be placed anywhere in the South/Home Counties. I can, also, take on a general American, Southern Irish and a Cockney accent, as well as a little bit of a Welsh accent due to my recent venture of Under Milk Wood.
My first professional job also included an element of voice-over work.
Working on a Scottish one as dream job is to be Merida in Disneyland! I have experience working as a mascot, and love it.
Very interested in stage make-up and completed a media make-up course at college. I was part of winning make-up team for panto as did my own make-up for Jiminy Cricket.
Ambidextrous, which can, sometimes, prove useful.
