SOMERSET FELLOWSHIP OF DRAMA Phoebe Rees Trophy Competition
2012 - (Nominated for Under 16s category) Adjudication said “Catherine did very well in all the parts she took. It was very pleasing to see such a young actress so thoroughly involved and so obviously enjoying it. She was good as Pewsey, especially in her scene with Nanny Ogg asking for a sweet. As Magenta she was suitably clear in all she said but it was as the Elf I will particularly remember her. She was quite evil and threatening and in the fight scene she was very believable. It is always good to see a young actress starting out in a group like Taunton Thespians. I look forward to seeing her in future productions as she gains experience. I thought that everything she was called on to do was done clearly and enthusiastically. Well done, Catherine!"
